painter, sculptor and multimedia artist
Born in Czechoslovakia in 1977
Graduated in 2008 as Master of Arts at Academy of Fine Arts in Prague
Vladimir Vetrovsky works with a metaphysic perception of the real world. He uses his own artistic vocabulary to express his personal view of life behind the borders of another state of consciousness.
In Vetrovsky´s paintings we can feel a strong accent on color as a medium what keeps a value and a message. He works with a palette of wide spectrum possibilities of painting technics as well as transparent layers to strong structural mass of color on canvas. We can see also many structures and assemblages sticked in the pictures as a reference to reality and objectivity. The topics are choosen as a start point to developpe some free ideas and feelings in relation with the spectator´s own story and the artist´s experiences. Objects of daily use, fantastic figures, imaginary landscapes and natural topics are concerned.

Currently he lives and works in France (Avignon).
Vetrovsky´s works are represented in privat collections in Czech Republic, France, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Italy, United Kingdom and USA.
